Kepi Jensen

Kepi Jensen is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist currently residing and playing in the beautiful Connecticut Shoreline. Kepi writes and performs original music as well as playing guitar and bass in the local band "Bird & Blokes".

Born in Southern California, Jeff "Kepi" Jensen started playing guitar as a teenager, using an old Sears Catalog Harmony guitar his mother gave him and learning chords from an old Mel Bay guitar book.

Kepi joined his first band "The Wake" in the mid 1990s, playing a mix of rock and alt-country around Southern California. It was during his time in this band that Kepi first ventured into songwriting. When The Wake broke up (after getting a 'Cease and Desist' order from a band with the same name from Ohio), Kepi took time off from music, but continued writing and playing guitar.

In the early 2000's, Kepi began playing out again, playing his original music and joining several friends playing guitar around Southern California. 

In 2008, Kepi - now a husband and father - moved with his family to the east coast, settling in Connecticut. In Connecticut, Kepi has continued his musical journey, playing in several bands as well as showcasing his own music.  Kepi most recently played guitar, bass, and singing in the popular local band Bird & Blokes.
